Honestly, we need to stop writing about simulators with any tone of surprise or *gasp*, especially at the simulator job. You could almost apply Rule 34 to the simulator genre, and in the instance that's brought us here today, it's in the revelation that Bakery Simulator is a thing, and that you'll be running your own bakery as soon as the first week of May. Alongside the trailer above, we'll just let the game's recipe do the talking: Have you ever had this feeling that bakeries' owners never sleep? What can be so time-consuming and difficult about baking bread and rolls? You take flour, water, and yeast. You put them into a mixer and then into the oven. Piece of cake. Well, this piece is quite a large one. You must prepare the dough, use machines, measure ingredients, and try out recipes. Deliver them warm to the stores. Invest what you’ve earned, customise your kitchen and remember everyone loves hot and crispy bread so there's no time to rest. Delays can be costly.Honestly, all of that and the trailer above has us champing at the bit to check this out, especially in its open-world approach. Currently the game is slated to hit Steam this May 4. |
